SpecificationsAt IDEAL HOMES we want our clients to be reassured that they are buying a home built to meet anti-earthquake standards in Greece and the quality of materials and craftsmanship are of high standards. Furthermore, each home becomes unique with your selection of colours, tiles, kitchen and bathroom fittings, window fittings and furniture. FOUNDATIONS AND STRUCTURAL FRAME Reinforced concrete is used for foundations, bases, continuous tie beams, columns and staircases conforming with the strict building and anti-earthquake regulations in Greece. This is the most important stage in construction as the structure of your house depends on its foundations and frame. A licensed civil engineer is always present at this stage as he/she guarantees the structure and therefore checks if reinforcement is placed correctly and quality concrete is used in the process. EXTERNAL WALLS The construction is made up of a cavity wall using two-skin hollow clay brick, with air gaps for acoustic and thermal insulation for all year round comfort. Without cavity walls your house will be too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. RENDERING Rendering comprises of an initial coat of cement rendering and a final rendering using a mixture of powdered marble and white cement for a durable finish. Furthermore, mesh is used on all joins and electrical channels for better adhering of plaster. PLUMBING A solar panel with an electric immersion water heater is fitted as standard, as well as plumbing installations in kitchens and bathrooms and the waste connection to a large absorbent septic tank. All pipework for central heating is fitted as well as standard. further information - next page Specifications Sheet (Adobe PDF, 100kb) |
